Participation and Conditions
Being at point zero there are no specifications for your film submission. Anything from a short experimental film to a three-and-a-half-hour epic is accepted. A participant can also submit multiple films. Depending on submissions we will divide the winners into categories, but altogether there will be three winners guaranteed with the prize money as mentioned below.
"Welcome Home" by Markus Mueller-Hahnefeld
"Bob" by Marc Rössler
You can register to take part in the competition and submit a film until August 1st, 2021. After completing the online registration form and accepting the conditions of participation, the registration will be confirmed in writing via email. The registration data are only used for establishing contact and communication between the participant and Point Zero (Nullpunkt e.V. Germany). They will be kept confidential and not disclosed to third parties.
If you are among the three winners, we will contact you and invite you to the opening night. In addition, a further, small selection of interesting submissions might be shown at opening night (depending on the length of the films).

The submitter further declares that he is the owner of all rights to the film (including the music used) necessary for distribution and exploitation, and releases Point Zero from the obligation to pay damages, the costs of a legal dispute, including the costs of an appropriate legal defense, in the event of a claim by a third party.
The jury alone decides on the award of the prizes. The jury is exclusively appointed by Point Zero. The jury meetings are not open to the public. The jury is made up of authors and filmmakers.
